What to do?
Call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.
Report the incident and injury to your employer.
Collect and note relevant information time and location of incident, persons involved and witnesses to the incident.
Use your phone or mobile device with a camera to take pictures of the scene and your injuries.
Look around for any security cameras that may have recorded the incident. The captured video could be valuable evidence to build your claim and sometimes, companies will erase video on a weekly or monthly basis.
